We’re looking for an Associate Attorney who is eager to learn, compassionate, and ready to build a long-term career in disability advocacy. Prior experience in Social Security or disability law is not required – we provide training, mentorship, and support to help you succeed.
What You’ll Do
Represent clients in Social Security Disability matters (initial claims, reconsiderations, and hearings)
Prepare and review case files, medical records, and legal documentation
Communicate with clients, medical providers, and the Social Security Administration
Advocate for clients at hearings (training and support provided)
Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff to deliver strong client outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in South Dakota
or
ability to become licensed shortly
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compassion, patience, and a client-focused mindset
Ability to manage deadlines and work through detailed information
Interest in public service, advocacy, or disability law
No or minimal legal experience required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
