Responsibilities
Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions
Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses
Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels
Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients
Qualifications
Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or J.D. degree)
At least 5 years of experience working as a senior associate attorney
Member of state and local bar associations in good standing
Previous experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration
Compensation Compensation:
$135,000+ total DOE
