Job Description
Premiere Personal Injury Law Firm in Brevard County, FL is looking to add a highly motivated Associate Attorney with at least 3-5 years of litigation experience to handle personal injury claims. Experience in personal injury litigation is preferred, but not mandatory. You will take on substantial responsibility in all aspects of a personal injury claim, including direct client interaction, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery and participating in depositions and court appearances. We are looking for a candidate who is capable of handling complex legal issues and eager to grow professionally. This position is ideal for an attorney who is looking to take on meaningful work, develop expertise in the field of personal injury, and have direct input into case strategy and client interaction.

Your role will include:
Assisting with personal injury case screening, intake, and signup.
Processing new cases including opening cases, dealing with adjusters, clearing liability, answering questions and client follow up.
Assist in communications and case negotiations with insurance adjusters.
Supervising and monitoring client treatment.
Overseeing the ordering and timely obtaining client medical and billing records.
Reviewing liability and medical/billing records for settlement document preparation.
Diligently prepare cases, legal strategies and legal documents.
Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as depositions, hearings, trials and mediations.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions and briefs.
Conduct legal research and analysis.
Managing a robust case load.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed in Florida.
This is an in-person office job and not a remote position.
3-5+ years of litigation experience.
Being comfortable in court attending hearings, arguing motions and going to trial.
Ideal Qualifications
Experience with case evaluation and formulating legal strategies.
Experience with settlement negotiations.
Experience in personal injury litigation.
Must have excellent skills in negotiation and client interaction.
Excellent research and writing abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail, strong legal research skills and a strong work ethic.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Versed in Florida personal injury issues such as insurance coverage, property damage, liens, subrogation, liability and damage issues, etc.
