WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll lead a high-performing team within Nike’s North America Distribution Network leading its purchasing and supply planning team, focused on strategic purchasing, supplier relationship management, and end-to-end supply planning. This position partners across Global Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Facility Maintenance and Operations to enable data-driven decision-making and optimize inventory and supplier performance.
Reporting to the Senior Director, NA Engineering, Facility Maintenance and Purchasing and Supply Planning, you will manage Purchasing and Supply Planning Specialist while collaborating closely with executive leadership and cross-functional partners to deliver on operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability goals.

Key qualifications
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in supply planning, procurement or relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training; Master’s or MBA preferred
Extensive experience as a manager or senior-level role in supply chain, demonstrating advanced knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes
Demonstrated experience developing supplier strategies, KPIs, and risk mitigation programs
Expert proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Coupa inventory management software, forecasting tools)
Proven leadership skills and ability to achieve goals through influence and stakeholder alignment
Strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data, make strategic decisions, develop new ways of working and deliver measurable outcomes
Demonstrate the ability to implement procurement and supply planning systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Advanced familiarity with supplier scorecards, KPIs, and risk frameworks
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships internally and externally
Proven experience in project and vendor management
Advanced knowledge of contract life cycle management
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with MS Office-suite and advanced project management tools
Professional certifications such as APICS (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) or CPSM, CSCMP are highly advantageous

Your leadership will drive strategic initiatives in purchasing, supply planning and analytics all while supporting Nike’s sustainability goals and meeting operational performance expectations.
Your day-to-day will include:
Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of purchasing and supply planning professionals
Owning the strategic direction for supplier segmentation, contract lifecycle management, and inventory planning
Monitoring and optimizing supplier scorecards and performance tracking reports
Overseeing implementation of supplier scorecards, VMI programs, and supplier performance reviews
Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, risk assessments, issue resolution and fostering long-term partnershipsAligning cross-functional teams around procurement strategy and best practices
Directing purchase orders and consumable inventory management and spend within a monthly budget using Coupa including the management of inventory productivity and availability and invoice reconciliation
Leading RFPs, negotiating contracts, and benchmarking supplier capabilities
Championing sustainability and compliance across all purchasing activities
Building and refining procurement methodology playbooks and sourcing analytics frameworks
Collaborating with internal leaders to drive cost optimization and supply planning innovation initiatives
Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts and consumption patterns to optimize stock levels, rationalize SKUs and reduce costs
Continuously evaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying cost‑saving opportunities and process enhancements.
Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, such as supply disruptions or price fluctuations
