Our client is an established Semiconductor Manufacturing facility in the Phoenix AZ vicinity, and are seeking experienced Sr Buyer, Procurement & Supply Chain to join the team and lead in building the foundation for the new 2M+ sq. ft. manufacturing facility site.
Position Summary : We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Supply Chain & Procurement Buyer to lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and optimize procurement processes. This role is critical to ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, supporting operational efficiency and organizational growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet business objectives and ensure supply continuity.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms, pricing, and quality.
Manage supplier performance, including conducting regular reviews and resolving issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Finance) to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
Lead initiatives to improve procurement processes, systems, and tools.
Support inventory management and demand planning to optimize stock levels.
Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost savings.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
Experience of ERP / MRP (SAP experience is plus, Oracle, Coupa) and Microsoft Office Suite), VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), JIT (Just In Time)
Knowledge of contract law, procurement best practices, and global sourcing.
Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or PMP are a plus.
Bi-Lingual skills in Korean is a plus
Require 10~30%
Familiarity with sustainability and ESG procurement practices is preferred.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
Working experience in a manufacturing environment, such as aerospace or semiconductor
