Position Overview Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an
NDT Level I Quality Test Specialist
to support our business in
San Antonio, TX .
Position Responsibilities
Analyzes routine data
Assists with standard corrective action recommendations
Documents and communicates standard test, analysis or measurement results to customers through entries in quality records and/or test reports
Performs setup of routine test or measurement equipment
Performs routine tests
Assists in the documentation of procedures and technique sheets for setting up test equipment
Performs setup of test or measurement equipment to controlled standards
Assists in the documentation of procedures for test equipment setup
This position requires the applicant to obtain NDT Level II certification within 12 months of employment in Eddy Current and/or Ultrasonic Testing
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Formal Non-Destructive Testing training in Eddy Current and Ultrasonic from an accredited institution
Willing and able to work variable shifts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Experience in Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, and Radiography
Experience working with regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, and/or Military)
Ability to obtain a Yankee White U.S. Security Clearance post-start
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Demonstrated accuracy and critical thinking in reviewing information and resolving issues
Proven commitment to confidentiality and high ethical standards while delivering quality work
Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly in both written and verbal formats
