Compensation
Hourly Pay $31.22 per hour
Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week

Work Schedule
Sunday-Wednesday, 5:00pm-5:00am or Wednesday-Saturday, 5:00pm-5:00am.
Work until work is completed. Typically 8-12 hours per day.
Potential of some commute and work in mobile shop locations (no road side) to satellite locations
Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule.
Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and as-needed maintenance of diesel trucks and electronic vehicles
Properly operate the mobile service truck and attend to truck inventory
Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals
Travel to locations to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance.
Communicate effectively with management, providing them with detailed breakdowns of service requirements and costs.
Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
Test repaired equipment for proper performance; ensure work meets manufacturer's specifications according to FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations)
Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanic working on Medium to light duty trucks, required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working on air brakes, required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing preventative maintenance program, required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience managing preventative maintenance program on Electronic Vehicles preferred, will train.
Willing to teach and train candidates with a highly motivated attitude.
ASE Certification is preferred.
Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems as well as general mechanical operation and/or light body repair
Familiar with FHWA (Federal Highway Administration), and FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations), BIT (Basic Inspection of Terminals) inspections
High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
Must be able to lift 70 pounds
Candidate must provide his/her own tools
Must have valid driver's license with no suspensions and/or revocations in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years. No CDL required.
