Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Controls Coordinator to support the TISP team in the coordination and execution of electrical, controls, and instrumentation (E&I) scopes, alongside broader infrastructure and data initiatives. This role will bridge technical execution with administrative and financial tracking, ensuring efficient project delivery, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement across systems and processes.
What You'll Do
Project Execution Support: Coordinate E&I project scopes including procurement, field planning, scheduling, and contractor support
Material Management: Generate purchase requisitions, track deliveries, and coordinate with vendors to ensure material availability, accuracy, and timely delivery
Instrumentation & Electrical Oversight: Support the installation of instrumentation and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications
Work Request Management: Create, enter, and maintain work requests for the TISP team, ensuring task accountability and visibility across stakeholders
Tool & Equipment Coordination: Manage aerial lift rentals and ensure availability of necessary tools and equipment to support field activities
Schedule & Workflow Tracking: Maintain project timelines, coordinate work activities across teams, and track progress using tools like JIRA and Confluence
Financial Tracking: Monitor and document scope-level budgets, spending, and cost-saving initiatives. Present budget updates and savings in a clear, high-level format suitable for executive review
What You'll Bring
6+ years of experience in project coordination, construction, or industrial environments, ideally with exposure to electrical and instrumentation work
Solid understanding of electrical systems, controls, instrumentation, and proper installation methods
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, one-lines, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings
Working knowledge of the NEC and its application to industrial projects
Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Excel, SharePoint, and Confluence for tracking, reporting, and communication
Experience writing purchase requisitions and managing vendor communications
Familiarity with field equipment logistics, including rental coordination (e.g., aerial lifts, boom lifts)
