The Logistician leads all logistics and supply chain activities under CSCEP, including procurement planning, asset management, international shipping coordination, customs clearance, sustainment support, and ODC management.

Key Duties

Develop and execute Equipment Procurement and Shipment Plans (EPSP)

Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, and customs brokers

Maintain MEL-linked asset tracking and sustainment records

Support facility setup logistics, event materials deployment, and post‑delivery sustainment planning

Manage shipment milestones, risk tracking, and ODC accountability

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field

5–7 years of logistics experience supporting Government or DoD programs

Active U.S. Secret clearance

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Experience managing international shipping operations and customs clearance

Familiarity with MEL management, EPSP development, and sustainment logistics

Strong vendor coordination and shipment tracking skills

Highly Desired Skills and Experience

Prior logistics experience supporting DTRA or related USG programs

Knowledge of U.S. import/export controls and Defense Transportation Regulations

Communication Skills

Computer – M.S. Office, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Content Management Systems, SharePoint, MS Teams, and virtual team collaboration editing

Basic Writing – Ability to use correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, vocabulary, clarity, brevity, engagement, proofreading, and revising

Business / Professional Writing – Ability to formulate analytical report writing, note‑taking, email writing, meeting invitations, business case writing

Report and Technical Writing – Ability to conduct sourcing, research, analysis, data visualization, cross‑culture interviews, document preparation, data collection, and data management

Presentation Writing – PowerPoint, creativity, brevity, and curriculum materials

Time Management

Ability to function at a high level with little oversight as well as work as part of a larger team to complete mission objectives

Capable of working under tight deadlines and managing tasks through successful completion

Travel Requirements

CONUS‑based; OCONUS travel up to 10% in support of logistics handoffs, sustainment events, or facility equipment staging

Willing to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends as required to support partner nation and US‑based training events
