We are seeking a detail‑oriented Welding Inspection & Quality Control Inspector to ensure all welding activities meet applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will inspect welded components, monitor welding processes, and maintain quality documentation to secure safe, compliant, and high‑quality work. Essential Job Functions
Inspect welds visually and using applicable inspection methods to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME). Verify welding procedures (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR), and welder qualifications. Monitor welding activities to ensure correct materials, techniques, and parameters are used. Identify, document, and report nonconformances and defects; follow up on corrective actions. Review material certificates, welding consumables, and traceability documentation. Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and daily logs. Coordinate with welders, supervisors, engineers, and quality managers to resolve quality issues. Support audits, client inspections, and regulatory inspections as required. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and quality management systems. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred). Experience in welding inspection or quality control in an industrial, construction, or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, etc.). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols. Familiarity with welding codes and standards (AWS, ASME, ISO, or equivalent). Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Preferred
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification. Experience with NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT). Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001). Computer skills for reporting and documentation. What we offer
