Summary The Quality Control Inspector will audit the quality of GLOVIS services including, but not limited to vehicle receiving, processing operations, PIO parts installations, body shop repairs, and Quality Projects as required.
Responsibilities
Perform new vehicle audits and process according to customer requirements
Perform GLOVIS process audits
Perform PIO parts installation inspections
Inspect cars using GPQMS Audit App, IVELES, a specialized camera and/or check sheets.
Properly document results of the inspection and take pictures of non-conforming items.
Alert Supervisor/Manager of quality concerns immediately.
Audit employee compliance with standardized processes, procedures, bulletins, and work instructions
Assist with the development and implementation of audit strategies, audit related policies and procedures.
Assist with the training of new staff on quality inspections.
Communicate the status of unresolved quality issues
Follow all safety and compliance standards.
Assist all departments to achieve positive KPI results.

Must be willing and able to cross-train in other departmental areas as needed Required
Requires flexibility with schedule including break times as well as working extended hours, weekends, and holidays Required
Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions Required
Ability to manage priorities and organizational skills Required
Ability to drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles Required
Ability to record and verify numbers 17 characters in length Required
Ability to work cross functionally with the ability to conduct positive interaction communication, skills and strengths Required
Must have a general knowledge of automobile components Required
Education & Experience
High School Diploma/G.E.D Required
Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions Required
1 year of experience required OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Required
Experienced in mechanical, installation experience in a port-processing environment Preferred
