Summary The Warehouse Worker I position will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of parts and distributing them to the vehicle processing departments as needed. In addition, this position will operate forklifts as necessary.
Responsibilities
Distribute parts to processing departments.
Identify and collect required parts used on vehicle processing departments.
Distribute requested parts to corresponding departments.
Maintain housekeeping standards.
Perform other tasks as instructed by leadership.
Fill empty processing totes as needed.
Evaluate and determine priorities when filling totes of parts for processing departments and specific kits to be built.
Conduct VPC line counts for end‑of‑day, end‑of‑month, etc.
Support other departments' parts needs – heavy PIO, body shop, etc.
Complete checklists as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills
Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English (Required).
Ability to prioritize and multi‑task.
Good interpersonal skills to work well as a team and ability to work independently (Required).
Good driving record (Required).Understanding and performing basic math functions (Required).
Flexibility with schedule for extended hours, weekends and holidays (Required).
Education & Experience
High school diploma/G.E.D. (Required).
Valid state‑issued driver’s license without restrictions (Required).
Clear MVR (Required).
One year of experience (Preferred).
Physical Requirements
Operate forklift and pallet jack without assistance.
Lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Independently push/pull, bend/stoop, kneel, squat/crouch, stand frequently.
Working and Environmental Conditions
Exposure to loud noises from vehicles and heavy machinery.
Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
Position located at the Shreveport VPC.
Exposure to warehouse dust, chemicals/fumes.
