The Program
Overview
The Program is an insights‑to‑action agency partnering with world‑class brands. Project Managers at The Program must have an innate ability to navigate strategy, creative, technology, content, and client‑brand partnerships. They own the entirety of the project process, ensuring no detail goes unnoticed. Although this is not a content production / video production focused position, you will work across the content landscape in partnership, from time to time, with a content producer and content creatives.
Responsibilities
Manage client‑specific projects throughout the lifecycle including kickoff, progress monitoring, on‑time delivery, and invoicing.
Translate client requests and requirements into detailed briefs and solution‑based plans to meet expectations within timeline and budget.
Collaborate in a cross‑functional creative process, partnering with strategy, creative, and production teams to hit defined benchmarks.
Organize process and workflow across project workstreams.
Manage project administration such as production status, schedules, resource requests, budget management, and reporting.
Communicate risks, opportunities, and solutions to team and partners.
Contribute to creative and strategy pitches, briefs, and reviews.
Support client and project deliverables, strategic requirements, and manage expectations against reality.
Manage creative, technical, and production team members, and outside vendors to ensure all work exceeds client expectations.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs of gear from time to time.
For Portland‑based candidates: reliable vehicle and driver’s license, willing to drive to set, meet with client partners, and more.
Experience & Qualifications
5+ years experience as a project manager or producer at an advertising agency or in‑house at a brand.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
High proficiency in Google Suite, Keynote, spreadsheets, Asana, Airtable, and other project management tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment handling several ongoing projects.
Reports To The Project Manager reports to the Director, Project Management.
Details
Location: Portland, Oregon (in‑office hybrid – 3 days per week in office, 2 hybrid days per week).
Salary band: $60,000 – $80,000.

Remote option: open to fully remote candidates on a per‑case basis.
