Operations Manager, Imaging Services
Seeking an
Imaging Supervisor
to lead day‑to‑day operations of the
Radiology Department
at
Emanuel Medical Center . This role is responsible for staff supervision, workflow management, compliance, quality assurance, and overall departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise front office and tech assistant teams along with imaging modality personnel.
Maintain daily staffing, workflow coordination, and coverage.
Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new hires.
Enforce and uphold hospital policies, performance improvement plans, and professional standards.
Serve as acting department lead in the absence of the Imaging Manager.
Assist in disciplinary actions and performance evaluations of support staff.
Foster a professional and collaborative environment for physicians, technologists, and support staff.
Promote hospital mission and values in all interactions with patients, staff, and visitors.
Ensure compliance with TJC, CMS, and CDPH regulatory standards.
Maintain accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of imaging records and patient data.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology (Bachelor’s preferred)
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT – State of California)
ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT)
ARRT Mammography (M) certification required
2‑5 years of relevant radiologic/imaging experience
Demonstrated leadership, coordination, or supervisory experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in healthcare
Preferred Attributes
Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
Experience in hospital‑based imaging services
Knowledge of RIS/PACS systems, EHR platforms, and imaging workflow tools
Strong communication and mentoring abilities
Familiarity with CMS, Joint Commission, and CDPH audit expectations
