ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform and supervise duties associated with restoration operations such as concrete patch work, sod restoration, blacktop and asphalt restoration and other necessary duties.
Directly supervise field crew/employees.
Participate in pre‑job meetings as requested.
Communicate thoroughly for all jobs with the Area Manager/Area Supervisor.
Ensure crew begins work promptly, has necessary tools and equipment, and confirms quality standards.
Maintain accurate daily documentation and reports.
Hold weekly safety meetings for all subordinates.
Inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.
Mediated and resolved employee conflicts as needed, documenting issues and resolutions.
Accurately record employee time, equipment usage, production quantities, materials and job notes.
Maintain assigned equipment, perform field repairs, and coordinate maintenance with the Area Manager/Area Supervisor.
Maintain neat and orderly work areas protecting public safety.
Communicate and cooperate with homeowners, business owners, job inspectors, and job inspection teams.
Provide a safe working environment by administering the company safety program.
Actively communicate with crews and Area Manager/Area Supervisor.
Address customer complaints and resolve them when appropriate.
Cooperate with job inspector, Area Manager/Area Supervisor, Support Services Group, and Safety Manager on job details and requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Identify and resolve problems promptly.
Strong oral and written communication.
Three or more years leadership experience.
Strong knowledge, skills and abilities in restoration.
Share expertise and build others’ knowledge.
Respond promptly to customer needs and resolve issues satisfactorily.
Focus on solving conflict, not blaming.
Maintain confidentiality.
Project labor and equipment needs accurately.
Build a positive team spirit; inspire respect and trust among crews.
Delegate work assignments.
Demonstrate knowledge of EEO policy and promote a harassment‑free environment.
Treat people with respect and uphold company values.
Follow policies and procedures and complete administrative tasks correctly and on time.
Consistently meet or exceed productivity standards.
Handle frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
Good organizational skills.
EDUCATION / ABILITIES
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior supervisory experience.
Basic math, reading and writing skills.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Critical thinking, problem solving and precision work skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
English required; Spanish a plus.
Read, interpret and implement work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Effectively communicate with customers, homeowners, and employees.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Drive on a stop‑and‑start basis daily and continually; get in and out of trucks and/or equipment multiple times during the day.
Stand, walk (incl. uneven surfaces), turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, speak and hear continuously.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Outside weather conditions and moving mechanical parts.
Wet and/or humid conditions, cold, heat and humidity.
Loud noise levels.
Frequent exposure to slow or fast‑moving traffic.
OTHER CONDITIONS
Adhere to all company policies, rules and regulations as stated in the Employee Handbook and Safety Manual.
Maintain a valid driver's license for the state in which the primary work functions are performed.
Available for occasional weekly shifts of emergency after‑hours and emergency weekend on‑call duties.
Good understanding of traffic control rules, regulations and techniques, including project control, planning and resource management.
Present a professional image at all times, representing self and company in a courteous and respectful manner when dealing with customers, vendors, employees and the public.
