Job Summary The Senior Retail Inventory Analyst serves as an expert execution role for managing the in-store inventory levels across our Retail store fleet (inclusive of both Outlet & Regular doors) for a product-specific Category(s) and supporting the rest of the Inventory team with projects and best practices. Taking product strategies from their Merchant(s) and Planning counterparts to deploy inventory optimally against them. This individual contributes to the success of the organization by owning the allocation and replenishment of each Store/SKU combination, for their designated profile, to maximize in stocks, depth, and sales, while minimizing markdown costs when we need to exit product. They partner with cross-functional Retail teams to provide clear visibility to inventory metrics and the risks/opportunities from approximately 90 days before a season starts, and throughout the lifecycle of the inventory in store. They take initiative as needed (or directed) outside of their profile and are a tested resource for all things allocation/replenishment.

Associate Responsibilities
Execute the daily/weekly/monthly activities of the Inventory business process and set an example of best practice for others (offering support as needed).
Manage the Target Inventory level by Store/SKU across time to maximize the product strategies defined by Merch & Planning.
Proactively increase/decrease inventory levels to reflect the changing rate of sales across time, and react as new trends emerge that require action to protect sales, inventory and service objectives.
Ensure that all stores have sufficient product to always maintain a strong visual display in line with store fixture capacities and Visual Merchandising guidance.
Provide proactive communication and regular updates on the successful launch of new products and new store openings, coordinating higher level summaries across the team.
Lead the Inventory team’s approach to supporting inventory & store-based sales information to weekly, monthly processes and meetings to address/identify risk and opportunities, focused on consistently delivering analysis on key metrics (in Stock, Weeks of Supply, projected liability).
Track and monitor sales and inventory levels by Store/SKU to proactively manage the successful and profitable exit of product that drops. Understand when to stop allocation/replenishment, and make recommendations for where we need to execute store-to-store transfers to minimize markdown and write-offs, supporting the development of documented process.
Prepare and present holistic Inventory team hindsight analysis to identify opportunities for future seasons and strategies.
Establish cross-functional relationships to promote best practices and process adherence; fosters collaboration and teamwork.
Propose and participate in additional projects in collaboration with Planning & Inventory Leadership, looking to improve process, business results, and consumer experience.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Planning or Inventory Management adjacent role.
Strong written, oral, and active listening communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management and cross-functional partners to present and explain ideas succinctly.
Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, prioritize workload, and concurrently manage multiple projects with a commitment to delivering results.
Develop collaborative partnerships cross-functionally, offering support and guidance to them and your teammates.
Analytical thinker with strong understanding of Retail math and Planning/Inventory methodologies to execute enhancements.
Confident, self-motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic individual ready to bring energy and excitement to lead their business with excellence.
Strong data manipulation and software aptitude skills to operate with accuracy and efficiency (MS Office, Data, and Planning/Inventory tools).
Retail experience preferred.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Typical office environment; cubicle/office setting.
Extended periods of time sitting, standing, typing on a computer.
Travel required up to 10% of time (may include international).
This position has a remote location: Associate will have no regular requirement to be on‑site. Travel on‑site is limited to special events.
