Location: Macon, GA | Hybrid | Full-time.
Job Description Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and ensuring financial processes run smoothly? At American Pride Bank, we’re looking for a detail‑oriented and dedicated Loan Operations Specialist to help individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals with confidence and care. This role supports our lending operations in a mission‑driven organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
Review and prepare loan documents for booking.
Book loans (including SBA & Mortgage loans) into the core system.
Handle payoff quotes and document delivery.
Scan, file, and manage loan documentation.
Submit GRMA fees on a semi‑annual basis.
Assist with SBA 1502 report remittance.
Monitor and clear collateral/documentation exceptions.
Print and mail loan statements and notices.
Respond to customer and attorney inquiries.
Process loan maintenance requests, wires, and automatic fund transfers.
Support audits and assist with exception resolution.
Handle commercial and consumer loan processing, including renewals and extensions.
Manage construction loan disbursements and documentation.
Ensure compliance with TILA‑RESPA and HMDA requirements.
Maintain fraud detection and insurance tracking.
Job Requirements Environment & Physical Activity
Fast‑paced banking/business office environment with standard office temperature, moderate noise from computer(s), printer(s), telephone, fax, copier, scanner and other office equipment, and median traffic.
Ability to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, reach, lift (up to 25 pounds), and stand for various lengths of time.
Ability to operate and use a computer, printer, telephone, fax, copier, scanner, other office equipment and tools needed for the job.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma required; Associate or bachelor’s degree in business/finance preferred.
Minimum 3 years loan operation banking experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Experience with Jack Henry Products is a plus.
Strong communication and confidentiality skills.
Ability to work independently and learn new systems quickly.
