We are seeking a passionate educator for a Business and Technology Faculty position who can teach on‑site, online, or in a hybrid format. The ideal candidate combines real‑world business experience with a love for technology—integrating tools like Microsoft Office and emerging AI applications to enhance business decision‑making and productivity. Develop innovative methods for teaching business and technology related courses, such as Introduction to Business, Computer Applications, Spreadsheets, Math for Business Decisions, Data‑Driven Decision Making and AI‑Enabled Business Processes. Teach in all modalities—On Site, Online and Hybrid, with emphasis on onsite. The faculty member will utilize active learning methods and a variety of instructional strategies designed to assist the learner in meeting the objectives of the course. Such activities can include, but are not limited to:

Cooperative – project based learning Experiential learning – community based learning, learning community Technology‑enhanced learning Critical thinking initiatives

Design hands‑on learning experiences that demonstrate the practical use of Artificial Intelligence and AI agents in business contexts (e.g., automation, data analysis, forecasting, customer insights). Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement to meet current industry standards and credential requirements. Integrate Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other technology into coursework to enhance student proficiency in professional documentation, data analysis, and presentation delivery. Provide student advising on academic, career, and transfer opportunities aligned with Business Department pathways. Collaborate with colleagues within the department, across divisions, and through College Governance Committees and task forces. Contribute to program assessment, general education outcomes assessment and student learning outcomes initiatives. Work with the department to build community, internship, and university transfer partnerships. Engage in enrollment, retention, and outreach activities in alignment with the department’s mission. Pursue grant opportunities and other sustainability projects. Actively participate in department, division and professional staff meetings as well as other components of college governance. Participate in college programs and activities, including holding office hours to support student success. Support students’ learning goals by focusing on student learning outcomes, taking into account the needs and abilities of the students, becoming familiar with academic and social support while making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences. Maintain academic integrity, foster inclusive learning environments, and promote HCC’s mission and values. Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology Management, or a closely related field. Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a track record of integrating these tools into teaching and/or professional practice. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts and AI agents, with experience applying these technologies to business problems. Experience designing and delivering engaging courses, including online, hybrid, or in‑person formats. Demonstrated ability to apply inclusive, student‑centered teaching practices and varied pedagogical strategies. Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills. Ability to contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation activities. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Commitment to the mission of the community college. Preferred Qualifications

Terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D. or equivalent) in Business, Information Systems, Technology Management, or a closely related field, or a master’s degree with significant professional experience. Experience with data analytics, dashboards, automation, or AI‑assisted decision support systems. Familiarity with ethical and responsible use of AI in educational and business settings. Prior teaching experience at the college or university level and a demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching and learning. Publications or professional work related to AI in business technology, productivity tools, or education technology. Experience fostering partnerships with community organizations or local businesses. Salary and Funding

Full‑Time, Tenure‑Track MCCC/MTA Position. Salary: Minimum $57,013.00 – $65,725.00. Actual salary will be commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Full State benefits. Funding: State. Start Date: August 2026. Additional Details
