We are seeking a highly motivated, goal‑focused, customer‑oriented team member for the role of multi‑unit Senior Property Manager. Salary:
$24.00-$25.00 per hour.
General Area:
Seven Storage properties.
Must live within 20 miles of the area.
Job Overview
Oversee the overall management of multiple self‑storage facilities, typically around 5 locations with 1+ employees each.
Foster a culture that reflects NSA’s core values of Integrity, Accountability, Humility, and Compassion.
Host or attend scheduled virtual meetings (weekly, bi‑weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and impromptu meetings as needed.
Create monthly schedules to support business needs and cover shifts.
Ensure stores are staffed, properties are clean, customers are attended to, and calls are answered.
Partner with Recruiting to interview for open positions.
Develop, performance manage, and mentor team members; coach them to provide excellent customer service.
Ensure completion of new‑hire and ongoing employee training.
Guarantee that facilities and employees adhere to safety standards, operational procedures, and financial goals.
Conduct monthly audits of each store’s bank records and tenant accounts.
Conduct monthly auctions and ensure compliance with state lien laws.
Review maintenance and planned capital expenses to keep assets in good condition.
Oversee contract and license management.
Position Requirements
All work must comply with safety regulations and applicable safety policies and standards.
Physical activity: extensive walking, use of stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders when required, cutting property locks for auctions.
Travel by car to support area facilities; may require rental or personal vehicle and occasional air travel. Presence on site 5 days per week on a rotating schedule.
Multi‑unit property management experience preferred.
Management experience with a team of employees.
Excellent time‑management and multi‑tasking skills.
Excellent customer service, sales, phone, organizational, computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
Accurate record keeping, filing, and math skills for auditing and cash handling.
Host or attend virtual meetings; be on camera when possible.
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
Pass and maintain a clean criminal background check.
Work Monday‑Friday 9 am‑6 pm and at least one Saturday per month 9 am‑5 pm; may be on call during off Saturdays and Sundays.
Must live within 20 miles of the area or be willing to relocate within 20 miles.
