Position Summary
A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and is responsible for ensuring the completion of all opening and closing procedures.
Responsibilities
Manage and support store operations, working effectively with store management and store crews.
Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing, and following up on all activities.
Communicate information both to and from store management and crews.
Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers with questions, problems, and complaints, promoting a positive shopping experience.
Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
Manage merchandise presentation: price, stock shelves, execute displays, signs, inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise, and reset departments following POGs.
Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy.
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and respond to urgent issues at the store.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but Not Required).
Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 hours.
Time Type Full-time.
Pay Range $17.00 - $26.00 hourly.
