Overview
The Supervisor for Laundry & Linen serves the linen distribution operations of the system. This position supports the Manager of Laundry & Linen in assisting in the supervision of the team, and the coordination of operations. This position will serve as a working supervisor, as needed, to ensure the successful operation of the departments. Some travel will be required to assist with oversight at WakeMed Cary and WakeMed North, however, the position is based at WakeMed Raleigh. The Supervisor will ensure that all linen distribution and sanitation operations are done in manner that meets all regulatory and infection prevention guidelines and requirements. The Supervisor will assist in scheduling, training, coaching, auditing of all employees. The Supervisor will also be required to communicate and assist in overseeing vendor operations, as related to the position. Department Description
