Job Details We are accepting applications for experienced individuals to join our team as a
SUD Counselor
on the night shift. Responsibilities include: providing patients with individual support during overnight hours, overseeing morning wake‑up, facilitating meditation and other patient activities, conducting safety and security rounds of the facility and grounds in accordance with established schedule, ensuring patient participation in scheduled activities, providing basic crisis response, etc. Full Time. Overnight Shift. 10pm – 8am. 4 shifts/week (40 hours).
Qualifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and EMR skills.
Ensure quality, timeliness and accuracy of documentation to ensure compliance with CARF standards, OASAS regulations, other applicable State and Federal regulations, referral partner and insurance contract requirements.
Associate degree in Human Services preferred.
CASAC‑Trainee certification a plus.
Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorder and 12‑step philosophy preferred.
CPR certification required upon hire.
