Base Pay Range $48.00/yr - $48.02/yr
What This Job Involves Operates, inspects, and maintains all HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems in assigned facilities to achieve maximum efficiency and lifespan. Ensures equipment is safe and energy efficient, reduces downtime, and records preventive maintenance.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Perform preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and installed systems.
Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, building interior/exterior repairs, grounds, and production equipment.
Study and become familiar with equipment and proper usage methods.
Conduct inspections and report on conditions affecting client occupancy.
Submit P-card receipts daily.
Update work order status in real time.
Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.
Required Qualifications
Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
Commercial refrigeration experience (e.g., rack refrigeration or supermarket refrigeration equipment).
Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with strong HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair skills.
Valid state driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC.
Availability for call‑in work and other duties as required.
