Annual Giving Manager

Job Description This position supports the work of the YMCA of the Rockies, which operates a mission-based family and group conference and retreat center, serving more than 225,000 guests annually. The role develops and implements strategies to create and strengthen relationships that advance both our mission and philanthropy, specifically in the annual giving and program giving spaces. The Annual and Program Giving Manager is primarily responsible for the successful implementation of the annual fund, the retention of annual fund donors, programmatic funding support and staff giving campaigns.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of related work experience that can be demonstrated in applying to the duties listed above.
Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects efficiently.
High level of organization required to execute tasks in a timely manner. Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Raiser’s Edge or another philanthropic database is a bonus.
Essential Functions
Uphold and reflect the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Faith in all functions.
Uphold the YMCA of the Rockies Mission, policies, and programs.
Possess and demonstrate excellent customer service skills; friendly, personable, helpful, patient, and professional.
Support the YMCA of the Rockies safety program and promote safe work practices and a safe environment for guests, members, and staff.
Promote a cooperative, positive, and flexible atmosphere while working with others in a diverse community. Must meet acceptable criminal background check standards.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Possess a valid USA state‑issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles.
Possess stamina to work in the described environment. Weekend and evening responsibilities are frequent and statewide, with some out‑of‑state travel required.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on occasion.
