Base Pay Range $23.43/hr - $27.96/hr

Position Summary This position supports the work of the YMCA of the Rockies, which operates a mission-based family and group conference and retreat center, serving more than 225,000 guests annually. It develops and implements strategies to create and strengthen relationships that advance both our mission and philanthropy, specifically in the annual giving and program giving spaces. The Annual and Program Giving Manager is primarily responsible for the successful implementation of the annual fund, retention of annual fund donors, programmatic funding support, and staff giving campaigns.

Essential Functions

In collaboration with the Philanthropy Director, other philanthropy colleagues and volunteers lead the Association approach to annual and programmatic giving.

Function as board liaison for our annual outreach efforts.

Implement our stewardship plan and progress donors through our move management strategies with relationship-based fundraising at the forefront.

Develop and guide program/restricted giving efforts with support from the Philanthropy Director.

Meet yearly annual giving goals and develop strategies to grow the annual fund year over year.

Implement a donor retention strategy to retain 60% or more of Summit Club donors each year.

Assist in the planning and delivery of a successful Summit Club and Spirit Society Dinner in collaboration with the Philanthropy Director.

Work alongside Philanthropy in the successful planning of events year-round, including annual golf outings, member gatherings, and staff gatherings.

Build and maintain a portfolio of donors from Colorado and other locales who have the potential to become consistent contributors to the annual or programmatic funds with gifts increasing over time.

Help build a philanthropic culture focused on relationship building and provide opportunities for the entire Association to become involved in the advancement of our mission.

Develop and implement strategies to ensure our staff (part‑time, full‑time, seasonal, and volunteers) are aware of our mission and have multiple opportunities to contribute to staff giving campaigns.

Build a robust alumni program with the Program and HR departments that includes meaningful opportunities.

Oversee Columbarium, Memorial Wall, and Bench giving programs.

Work alongside the Central Reservation team to ensure donor‑sponsored getaway goals are achieved and delivered at the Center level.

Requirements / Qualifications

At least 5 years of work experience applicable to the duties listed in the job description.

Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous, and complex tasks and projects efficiently.

High level of organization required to execute tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with Raiser's Edge or another philanthropic database is a bonus.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Possess a valid U.S. state‑issued driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and comply with YMCA driving rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles.

Have stamina to work in the described environment. Weekend and evening responsibilities are frequent, and statewide and some out‑of‑state travel is required.

Be able to lift up to 30 pounds on occasion.
