Role Description The Pump PSL Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the Edge Controls pump division. This role will have 10-25 direct reports. The PSL Manager will directly interface with pump technicians and customers, ensuring jobs are setup for success and executed to Edge standards. Customer service is our highest priority, and the PSL Manager will be the focal point in executing this priority.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all service work is performed according to industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and company policies
Manage the business aspect of the pump division including employee development, field ticketing, customer service, time sheets, and expenses
Prepare service reports, analyze service performance data, and identify areas for improvement
Develop and implement service processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Proven service experience in rotational equipment
Knowledge of pump control systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and monitoring equipment
Possess in-depth knowledge of various types of pumps (centrifugal, multi-stage centrifugal, and positive displacement) and their applications
Proven track record managing service teams and handling complex customer issues
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyDetail-oriented with a proactive problem‑solving mindset
