Business Affairs Coordinator Student Life Department, Georgia State University – a dynamic team dedicated to student engagement and excellence.

Responsibilities

Support Student Life areas, focusing on Student Media: WRAS radio station, The Signal newspaper, NeoN video production house, Underground undergraduate literary journal, and New South graduate literary journal.

Provide support to Student Organization Services, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Spotlight Programs Board, POUNCE Rewards, and Panther Welcome programming.

Handle day‑to‑day business administration tasks for Student Media and overall financial management of Student Life areas, as directed by the Director of Student Life.

Collaborate with administrative specialists to reconcile accounts, coordinate travel and fee‑based payments, and support future budget planning.

Qualifications Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and two years of business management experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

Experience managing five‑figure budgets and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

General experience with Adobe products for document creation and preparation.

Knowledge of office policies and procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Willingness to work in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.

Adaptable, resourceful, and creative problem‑solving with a focus on superior customer service.

Additional Information Location: Atlanta Campus

Shift: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:15 pm

Salary: $45,500 per year (Pay Grade 13)

FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt

Job Type: Full Time (Benefits Eligible)
