Growout Supervisor – Poultry experience preferred
Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr – $62,000.00/yr
Our client, a leading company in the poultry industry, is seeking a Growout Supervisor to oversee live production operations at contracted poultry farms. The Growout Supervisor will ensure animal health, growout performance and production targets are achieved while maintaining compliance with biosecurity, animal welfare and food safety standards. This role requires hands‑on leadership, attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the poultry growout department to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to established procedures and standards.
Implement and monitor testing procedures to maintain the health and quality of poultry stock.
Coordinate with other department supervisors to ensure smooth operations across the processing plant.
Train and supervise staff, providing feedback and guidance to improve performance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain accurate records of operations and testing results.
Identify and resolve issues or obstacles affecting growth and development of poultry stock.
Continually assess and improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with management to set goals, plan for growth and evaluate performance.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a poultry processing plant.
Proven experience with testing procedures and quality control in a poultry environment.
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent problem‑solving and rapid decision‑making skills.Deep understanding of poultry growth and development processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.
Proficiency with computer record‑keeping and reporting systems.
A degree in a related field is advantageous but not essential.
