Responsibilities

Supervise day‑to‑day production operations to meet yield, efficiency, quality, and safety goals

Schedule, assign, and delegate work to optimize production and sanitation functions

Train, coach, and develop employees to maximize productivity and engagement

Lead efforts related to USDA compliance, HACCP adherence, and food safety standards

Monitor performance metrics including productivity, attendance, safety, and quality

Partner with Operations, HR, and leadership on staffing, training, and retention initiatives

Drive continuous improvement in processes, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency

Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis

Maintain production documentation, corrective actions, inventory, and quality records

Serve as a technical resource for production, quality, and operational problem‑solving

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Management, or equivalent experience

Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership in food manufacturing

Industry Background: Commercial food operations (protein processing preferred)

Technical Knowledge: Yields, plant efficiencies, production procedures, HACCP, USDA

Leadership: Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop frontline teams

Systems Proficiency: MS Office and production reporting systems

Communication: Ability to lead discussions on safety, quality, and performance issues

Language: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
