Job Description:
Under administrative direction, provides clinical leadership to the ACT Team in assessment, treatment planning, general healthcare, medical and psychosocial approaches. Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is designed to engage persons with a severe mental illness (SMI) whose needs are not met by traditional outpatient services. Services are delivered in the context and environment where they are needed (i.e., the team goes to the person).

Responsibilities

Supervises, directs, and coordinates completion of comprehensive assessment/reassessment of each consumer.
Utilizes management tools to help ensure team's philosophy and goals are in accordance with the ACT model.
Participates in staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and performance plans.
Oversees medical record documentation to ensure quality and accuracy.
Provides on‑call crisis interventions and back up according to team's policy.
Participates in engaging and motivating team clients in all treatment goals while providing direct service.
Manages ACT Team in maintaining organization’s required productivity standards.
Oversees completion of all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with organization’s guidelines.
Experience
Six plus years of clinical experience. Supervisory background and experience with program management preferred.
