Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities
Direct the workflow, motivate, train and monitor performance of warehouse associates.
Monitor work processes and propose modifications to improve productivity, efficiency, accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
Support compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
Coach employees to support their development in the role.
Specific Duties (depending on the assigned area)
Supervise receipt of merchandise, ensuring only products intended for the distribution center are accepted and maintain accurate daily logs.
Oversee staff in counting, weighing and identifying items being shipped; check materials against invoices, bills of lading and customer orders.
Coordinate with cage/vault clerks or order fillers when filling orders and shipping controlled substances.
Maintain detailed records of delivery processes, including time, date, quantity, source and destination.
Monitor route manifests and departures to ensure timely customer delivery.
Intervene with customers to resolve delivery or order‑filling issues.
Ensure accurate documentation of order‑filling details such as quantity, size, strength and NDC numbers.
Oversight of packing quality to protect breakable items and ensure satisfactory delivery.
Maintain detailed records of incoming and outgoing controlled substances in the cage/vault area.
Track attendance, monitor performance and manage overtime for associates.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Experience and Education Broad training in business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer science or similar fields, obtained through a four‑year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum two (2) years of directly related, progressively responsible experience.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability
Effective leadership communication, orally and in writing.
Decisiveness and analytical skills.
Basic mathematical proficiency.
Warehouse operations knowledge.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Computer proficiency with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Ability to establish positive relationships and foster teamwork.
Proficiency operating a reach truck (may be required).
Willingness to work extended hours, weekend on‑call rotation, and participate in physical inventory if scheduled.
