Responsibilities
Geophysical/Geotechnical Project Management Skills: Manage and operate the specialty exploration techniques of geophysical projects performed in Karst topography area (sinkholes), rock parameters, MASW site classifications, and utility locating. Methods of knowledge may include seismic refraction, electrical resistivity, ground penetrating radar, and micro-gravity techniques.
Client Management: Enhance our client satisfaction ratings by providing thorough, professional service, and maintaining continuous communications to build long term relationships.
Business Development: Strategically capture and maintain profitable revenue streams for Geophysical division. Establish and maintain effective relationships with local client base with particular emphasis on Architects, Civil Engineers, Commercial & Residential Developers, General Contractors, Health Care & Educational Institutions; Participate in networking events, trade shows and local community organizations; Gather competitor information and market intelligence.
Requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Construction Industry with an emphasis on Geophysical study.
Enthusiastic, self-starter with desire to provide excellent service to clients.
Strong communication skills (oral and written).
Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD).
Valid driver's license.
Willing to travel and work out of town for short periods of time.
Physical requirements may require lifting up to 50 pounds and traverse over rugged terrain.
Professional Geologist, Geophysicist, Licensed Professional Engineer a significant plus.
