Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance inspections in accordance with TICO policy.
Complete minor repairs to hydraulic system components, drivetrain, cab chassis, etc. (e.g., replace belts, hoses, U‑joints, air lines).
Complete required documentation using the fleet maintenance software program, ensuring accurate information is captured on vehicle repairs, parts usage, and repair times.
Perform routine oil changes and parts lubrication per specified schedule.
Perform minor replacements, repairs, and adjustments as needed.
Conduct all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Operate units to verify conformance to specifications.
Detect unusual noises while operating equipment.
Submit required job completion paperwork to the Shop Manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum one year’s experience in automotive/truck, light or heavy equipment maintenance and repair, or completion of an accredited vocational/technical school program.
Valid driver’s license.
Own tools.
Drug test required.
