Job Summary
The Quality Inspector will support manufacturing operations by performing inspections on mechanical and cosmetic components to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures. This role is responsible for reviewing engineering documentation, identifying non-conformances, and supporting new product introductions. The position requires attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced production environment. Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and cosmetic inspections on manufactured components Conduct inspections for incoming goods, returned products, and assemblies Support new product introduction and quality control activities Document and report non‑conformances and elevate critical issues Perform First Article Inspections and complete related documentation Interpret engineering drawings and verify compliance to specifications Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure inspection readiness Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED Two or more years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience documenting non‑conformances and corrective actions Familiarity with quality tools including 8D and 5 Whys Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting aviation or highly regulated manufacturing environments Benefits
