Quality Inspector 2 Northwest Aerospace Technologies (“NAT”), a Safran Company, is the only EASA DOA Certified aircraft interior reconfiguration group in the United States. Focusing on commercial and military aircrafts, NAT provides first‑class services in design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing for a variety of Blue‑Chip customers.

Job Summary Inspects, audits and reports on materials, processes and products used in the construction of aircraft interiors using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company's quality standards. This position reports to the Quality Inspection Supervisor or Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities

Perform first article inspection (FAI) of newly designed or revised products.

Inspect incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering and purchase order.

In‑process inspection of parts being manufactured.

Inspect sub‑assemblies used in the construction of aircraft interiors and all final products prior to shipment.

Interpret and read engineering drawings, company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

4–7 years of experience in quality inspection.

Familiarity with Windows operating system and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.

Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications; preferred technical knowledge.

Problem‑solving capability to identify and resolve issues.
