General Function The Assistant Manager II is a core member of the leadership team that drives Sunglass Hut’s success. The Assistant Manager II works in partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager to oversee all daily store functions, including selling, coaching, merchandising, talent acquisition, and retail excellence.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Utilize all company tools to deliver sales plans, develop associates, and achieve company objectives.

Use reporting tools and business acumen to identify and address performance gaps.

Provide ongoing coaching for all associates to support their growth while creating an inspirational work environment.

Acquire talent by networking, recruiting, and conducting interviews with the Store/Multi Store Manager.

Seek out opportunities for self‑development as defined in an individual development plan.

Spend majority of time on the sales floor.

Develop and maintain customer relationships by maximizing company tools.

Consistently execute brand standards.

Maintain store merchandising standards including updates or changes.

Know product knowledge and use learning tools to stay current on new fashion and performance products.

Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures.

Communicate brand strategy, promotions, contests, and incentives to the team.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

1+ years of experience.

Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of store operation.

Detail‑oriented.

Critical thinking to deliver operational execution.

Preferred Qualifications

Customer service and/or retail experience.

Previous leadership experience of 1+ years.

Benefits Employee pay is determined by geography, experience, qualification, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
