Responsibilities
Report directly to the AVP Indirect Lending; establish, maintain, train, and manage the dealer network.
Monitor ongoing dealer performance (production, application quality, delinquency, losses, profitability, etc.).
Submit market reports to AVP Indirect Lending regarding area of responsibility in a timely manner.
Interface directly with all dealer personnel; train dealers on all aspects of our indirect lending program.
Inform dealers of policy, procedures, and price changes; make recommendations for pricing/program changes.
Act as liaison between dealership partners and all Grow departments/branches to ensure superior sales and service standards.
Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) established by management.
Serve the Northeast Virginia area (Fredericksburg, Arlington, Manassas and surrounding areas) and Southern Maryland.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor of Arts/Science degree preferred.
Two years of successful business‑to‑business account management experience, including cold calling, prospecting leads, and training skills.
One year of work experience in the credit and finance industry.
Two to five years of specialized experience in indirect lending (dealer finance, underwriting, sales, or equivalent).
Excellent analytical, verbal, written and presentation skills.
Above‑average time management, problem solving and prioritization skills.
Valid driver’s license and insurance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DealerTrack, RouteOne and AutoCount; general office equipment knowledge.
Physical Demands
Move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, pulling) and lift up to 25 feet without assistance.
Sit for extended periods of time.
Read, write, speak, and type English.
Hear and use a telephone.
Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.
Work Environment
Telecommuting and home office setting.
Employee will be assigned a corporate vehicle and will travel within the credit union’s area of presence over 80% of the work week; overnight travel included.
Flexible work schedule that may include evenings and/or weekends (Saturday/Sunday) hours.
