What We Are Looking For A
Delivery Driver/Curbside Specialist
is a cross‑trained individual who functions across all store departments while delivering exceptional customer service at the door and behind the wheel. The role requires strong attention to state and CRA compliance rules and regulations, high energy, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, enthusiastic environment.
Job Duties
Deliver orders to customers efficiently and on time
Work scheduled shifts and follow the company’s attendance policy
Follow all delivery safety and CRA rules policies
Communicate timely and effectively when issues arise during deliveries
Promote JARS customer perks (Loyalty Program, Referrals, etc.)
Verify correct cash amounts during transactions
Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and customer satisfaction
Understand curb operations and fill in when needed
Verify customer information on delivery per CRA rules and regulations
Escalate customer issues to upper management when appropriate
Maintain a positive, caring attitude and treat customers and coworkers with respect
Fill in when short‑staffed and be willing to be cross‑trained
Follow and integrate JARS company policies and procedures with on‑the‑job interactions, tasks, and behaviors
Listen and respond to customer and coworker needs/requests appropriately and promptly
Manage documents associated with medical cannabis delivery, ensuring proper documents are kept and manifests are completed and filed
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in retail, sales, and/or hospitality
Minimum 1 year of delivery experience preferred but not required
Knowledge of cannabis strains and applications
Ability to handle fast‑paced situations and multi‑task
Valid driver’s license and MVR background check clearance
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Basic math skills
21 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED required
Willingness to submit to a background check
Company Provides
Company vehicle (unmarked)
GPS and vehicle safety system
Company cell phone for delivery utilization only
Work Atmosphere / Physical Demands
Requires prolonged driving and/or constant back‑and‑forth walking
Frequent contact with patients and staff
Variable hours: shifts may include nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
