What We Are Looking For A JARS Delivery Driver/Curbside Specialist is a cross‑trained individual who can function in all store departments and provide exceptional customer service at the door and behind the wheel. This position is for an individual looking to showcase a multi‑faceted skill set in a fast‑paced, contagiously enthusiastic environment. Strong attention to state and CRA compliance rules and regulations is required.
Job Duties
Deliver orders to customers efficiently and timely.
Work scheduled shifts and follow the company’s attendance policy.
Follow all delivery safety and CRA rules.
Communicate effectively when issues arise during deliveries.
Promote JARS customer perks (Loyalty Program, Referrals, etc.).
Verify correct cash amounts during transactions.
Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and customer satisfaction.
Understand curbside operations and fill in when needed.
Verify customer information upon delivery per CRA rules.
Escalate customer issues to upper management when appropriate.
Maintain a positive, caring attitude and treat customers and coworkers respectfully.
Fill in when short‑staffed and be willing to be cross‑trained.
Follow and integrate JARS company policies and procedures in on‑the‑job interactions.
Listen and respond to customer and coworker needs promptly.
Manage documents associated with medical cannabis delivery, keeping proper documents and returning manifests correctly.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in retail, sales, or hospitality.
Minimum 1 year of delivery experience preferred but not required.
Knowledge of cannabis strains and applications.
Ability to handle fast‑paced situations and multitask.
Valid driver’s license.
Pass a MVR background check.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Basic math skills.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Willing to submit to a background check.
Company Provides
Company vehicle (unmarked).
GPS and vehicle safety system.
Company cell phone for delivery utilization.
Work Atmosphere / Physical Demands
Requires prolonged driving and constant walking.
Frequent contact with patients and staff.
Working varied hours/day, including nights, weekends, holidays, and events on occasion.
