Statewide position! CPLC’s Early Childhood Development (ECD) programs provide full‑day, full‑year services to low‑income children aged 0‑3 years and their families in educationally stimulating environments. The Migrant Head Start program serves children aged 0‑5 years in migrant and seasonal farm and agriculture working families.
Responsibilities
Provide guidance, training, and resources to ECD staff and parents to support integrated early childhood services in disabilities and mental health across center‑based, home‑based, and family child care program environments in accordance with local, state, federal regulations and Head Start Program Performance Standards.
Promote school readiness by preparing children and families for school and life success.
Actively supervise children by sight and sound at all times in all environments.
Maintain health and safety regulations to create an optimum learning environment, including facilitating health practices on the school bus, outdoor and indoor settings.
Minimum Qualifications and Competencies
Basic keyboard skills and proficiency with computer software (Microsoft Office, Adobe) and web‑based systems.
Strong capacity‑building, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
Baccalaureate degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Development, or Psychology plus 1–2 years of experience.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with multicultural, socio‑economic at‑risk populations.
Bilingual in English/Spanish.
