About The Role Location: Madison, WI
Picture your day: you start by inspecting your forklift, checking fluid levels and safety features. A radio call comes in to reposition a trailer at the dock—you hop into the yard tractor (yard dog) and safely move it into place. Back inside, you glide pallets to staging areas, scan inventory, and help teammates keep the flow tight and on time. If you thrive on precision, safety, and teamwork, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Operate forklifts confidently and safely to transfer materials throughout the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks while verifying counts for accurate inventory control.
Rearrange and maintain warehouse layout to maximize efficiency and flow.
Complete pre- and post-shift equipment checks; report maintenance needs immediately.
Collaborate with your team to hit daily operational targets.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a zero-incident environment.
Join ongoing training to strengthen material handling and safety knowledge.
Use a yard tractor (yard dog) to move trailers around the property safely and precisely.
What You Bring
Valid forklift license and certification.
Valid driver’s license (required).
Hands‑on experience operating forklifts and material‑handling systems.
Sharp attention to detail and a strong safety mindset.
Ability to succeed in a fast‑paced setting while juggling multiple tasks.
Clear communication and a team‑first attitude.
Physical endurance, including the ability to lift heavy items as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
