Job Overview

As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day servicing of the Association and homeowners by providing exceptional service through project management and operational oversight for the multi‑million‑dollar corporation. You will establish effective multitasking, manage employee development within overall staffing needs, and communicate promptly with the board and owners on necessary topics and issues through established procedures. You will also maintain constructive relationships with the Boards and ensure the continuity and profitability of the relationship with FirstService Residential. Compensation

Salary range: $75,000–$85,000 annually. The base pay is commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities and may be modified in the future. Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point person for the Management Company and board for all aspects of the association. Work proactively to limit complaints and issues, mediating and resolving any problems promptly with applicable parties. Assist in long‑term planning of the association by proposing ideas, recommendations, and best practices to the board. Work directly with the Board President to keep the board current on association operations and serve as a liaison for communication needs between the board and owners. Create and distribute board packets for meetings by the Friday before a scheduled meeting. Monitor the unit count to ensure proper assessments and fees. Update and monitor user‑count reports, including the email authorization list. Coordinate information and communication with the master association, country club, and sub‑associations for synergy. Oversee communication with large vendors, including landscaping. Monitor all financial aspects of the association, submit and approve invoices and check requests weekly for board approval, and provide monthly cash transaction reports. Review monthly financial statements and submit necessary reports to the board and finance committee. Create an annual draft budget for the finance committee and oversee the reserve study process. Directly supervise the Assistant Manager of Compliance, monitor compliance inspections, and maintain compliance inspections and aesthetic guidelines. Oversee asset maintenance, preventative maintenance, and work with Lifestyle/Fitness Coordinators to ensure efficient operations. Monitor lifestyle operations through property walks, staff involvement, and attendance at events. Ensure adequate programming is planned and implemented while meeting budgetary expectations. Implement expense control systems, oversee payroll and scheduling, and maintain accurate records. Manage association communication tools, including the website, emails, Facebook, and printed materials. Produce and update newsletters, website content, flyers, and event information. Oversee onsite HR matters, comply with HR procedures and laws, and manage hiring, training, and payroll. Schedule training, including OSHA‑related safety, and maintain community assignments annually. Perform all other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications

CPR and AED Red Cross certification. Certified pool operator (if required by staffing). Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with knowledge of Adobe programs. Current knowledge of state statutes, association CC‑Rs, and Rules and Regulations. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Education and Experience

High school diploma; college degree preferred. Management of 5+ employees for at least 2 years. Full Community Manager License (NRED). Five or more years of professional experience with common‑interest communities. Work Location
