Business Development Associate A fast‑growing firm in Kansas City is seeking a driven and relationship‑oriented Business Development Associate to join its expanding team. Key Responsibilities

Proactively engage financial advisors and strategic partners through outbound outreach, calls, digital communication, and event‑based networking.

Build and nurture strong relationships that help advisors enhance their business strategy, client experience, and overall growth.

Clearly articulate the firm’s value proposition and support messaging that aligns with advisor needs and goals.

Manage a structured outreach pipeline, ensuring consistent follow‑up and relationship continuity.

Collaborate closely with internal team members on marketing initiatives, advisor support programs, and partnership development efforts.

Maintain accurate CRM records, track engagement metrics, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Represent the firm with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a service‑first mindset in all advisor interactions.

Qualifications

2–6+ years of experience in business development, sales, relationship management, financial services distribution, or a closely related field.

Experience engaging financial advisors, RIAs, or financial professionals is highly preferred.

Strong communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly, confidently, and authentically.

Comfortable with proactive outreach, managing pipelines, and driving conversations that build trust and long‑term engagement.

Metrics‑driven, organized, and energized by high levels of interaction and activity.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Positive attitude, strong initiative, and a genuine interest in helping advisors and their clients succeed.
