Position type: Temporary, entry‑level seasonal ride operator. Duties include testing equipment daily, ensuring safe operation, enforcing restrictions, assisting loading/unloading guests, delivering safety dialogue via microphone, and opportunities for learning and expanding knowledge.
Responsibilities
Test equipment daily before opening the ride.
Ensure safe operation of the ride.
Enforce ride restrictions and recommendations.
Assist with loading and unloading rides, including small children and guests with disabilities.
Give directions and deliver ride safety dialogue to guests using a microphone.
Have additional opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge.
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Available to work both Saturday and Sunday during spring and summer operations.
Full availability for opening and/or closing shifts during the spring operating season, ideally up to 8‑hour shifts.
Minimum 3 months commitment through the end of the season.
Passionate about California’s Great America and eager to help guests.
