Earn $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

Position type: Temporary, entry‑level seasonal ride operator. Duties include testing equipment daily, ensuring safe operation, enforcing restrictions, assisting loading/unloading guests, delivering safety dialogue via microphone, and opportunities for learning and expanding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Test equipment daily before opening the ride.
• Ensure safe operation of the ride.
• Enforce ride restrictions and recommendations.
• Assist with loading and unloading rides, including small children and guests with disabilities.
• Give directions and deliver ride safety dialogue to guests using a microphone.
• Have additional opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Available to work both Saturday and Sunday during spring and summer operations.
• Full availability for opening and/or closing shifts during the spring operating season, ideally up to 8‑hour shifts.
• Minimum 3 months commitment through the end of the season.
• Passionate about California’s Great America and eager to help guests.
