Business Development Manager – Commercial Cleaning Services Location:

Phoenix Metro Area

About Us Resort Housekeeper is a leading provider of commercial cleaning and housekeeping services for resorts, hotels, vacation properties, high‑end restaurants, and commercial buildings across the Phoenix metro. With over 35 years of operational excellence and deep hospitality relationships, we continue to grow rapidly. We are now expanding our business development team to support this next stage of growth.

Role Overview The Business Development Manager will lead new‑account acquisition and revenue growth within the Phoenix metro area. This role focuses on building relationships with decision‑makers in hospitality, restaurant groups, commercial properties, and facility management organizations. While extensive housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is not required, an understanding of our services and the Phoenix marketplace is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Development

Identify, engage, and build relationships with key decision‑makers across hotels, resorts, restaurants, and commercial buildings.

Conduct discovery conversations and needs analysis to understand potential client’s operational needs, pain points, and service expectations.

Partner closely with leadership and operations to develop tailored proposals and service solutions.

Agreement Negotiation and Execution

Lead proposal presentation, pricing discussions, and agreement negotiations.

Coordinate handoff to operations to ensure seamless service launch and ongoing client satisfaction.

Market Insights and Presentations

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.

Maintain understanding of local market dynamics, competitor offerings, and pricing trends to inform strategy.

Pipeline & Process Management

Maintain an organized, accurate sales pipeline with consistent prospecting activity.

Proactively identify new opportunities through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach.

Utilize CRM tools (HubSpot) to track progress, follow‑up activity, and proposal status.

Proposal Tracking & Pricing

Prepare pricing models and customized proposals aligned with operational capacity and client needs.

Track proposal stages from initial contact through final agreement and ensure timely follow‑up.

Strategic Thinking

Contribute strategic insights to help shape market expansion and service positioning.

Proven Track Record

Demonstrate track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Candidates should be prepared to discuss prior sales success.

Qualifications

3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in service‑based industries such as hospitality, facility services, commercial cleaning, or related fields.

Proven success in developing new business and managing a multi‑step sales cycle.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with operations and leadership teams.

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Compensation Structure

Competitive base salary + uncapped commission structure.

First‑year on‑target earnings: $100,000. No ceiling on compensation in future years.
