Facilities Associate Project Manager - College of Medicine
Department: Medicine | Office of the Dean
Responsibilities
Assists with the coordination of day‑to‑day administrative functions, operations of facilities and security management for the College of Medicine/Office of Health Sciences (COM/OHS) involving a portfolio of 10+ buildings, more than 200,000 sq. ft., varying from research, administration, and educational type spaces.
Serves as a primary contact and provides regular communication to faculty, staff, and students.
Coordinates/assists with renovation projects, physical operations and maintenance, access control management, equipment/access audits, and safety issues.
Responds to after‑hours safety and security issues based on a rotating schedule among the COM Facilities team.
Identifies, investigates, audits and resolves issues involving building safety standards and regulations including OSHA, ADA, and fire and building codes.
Coordinates administrative functions including Workday reporting and requisition submissions, manages the COM Facilities shared drive, and reports from various internal systems.
Communicates facility issues/outages to varying audiences.
Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 0 years of relevant experience required.
Preferred Qualifications A minimum of one year of experience in a facility services capacity including facilities maintenance and building security, preferably in a medical or health sciences research setting; basic knowledge of ADA and OSHA health & safety requirements highly desired; ability to lift 30 lbs or more; computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications desired.
