Job Description The Facilities Associate Project Manager assists with the coordination of day‑to‑day administrative functions, operations of facility and security management for the College of Medicine/Office of Health Sciences (COM/OHS) involving a portfolio of 10+ buildings, more than 200,000 sq. ft., varying from research, administration, and educational type spaces. Serves as a primary contact for, and provides regular communication to, faculty, staff, and students; coordinates/assists with renovation projects, physical operations and maintenance, access control management, equipment/access audits, and safety issues; responsible for responding to after‑hours safety and security issues (based on a rotating schedule amongst the COM Facilities team); identifies, investigates, audits and resolves issues involving building safety standards and regulations including OSHA, ADA, and fire and building codes; coordinates administrative functions including but not limited to Workday reporting and requisition submissions, management of COM Facilities shared drive, as well as reporting from various internal systems; responsible for sending communications to varying audiences related to facility issues/outages; additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 0 years of relevant experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of one year of experience in a facility services capacity to include facilities maintenance and building security desired, preferably in a medical or health sciences research setting.

Basic knowledge of ADA and OSHA health & safety requirements highly desired.

Ability to lift 30lbs or more.

Computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications desired.
