About This Role: The Central Finance (CFin) team is looking for an experienced accounting and consolidation expert with system implementation experience to join the team in the implementation of SAP/S4 HANA CFin across the organization.

This project is transformational for Carrier enabling the standardization of managerial and financial reporting to provide real‑time insight into business trends and results, driving scale and efficiency in transaction processing and upskilling the global organization to ensure adoption and full utilization of CFin to enable teams to work smarter.

The CFin project is underway and consists of three phases including data foundation, shared services enablement and consolidation/intercompany. The current focus, the data foundation phase, includes aligning the common chart of accounts, cost centers, profit centers and business partners from legacy ERPs to CFIN. The CFin Transformation Lead will work with the deployment team, CFin workstream leads and business subject‑matter experts to enable the integration of each ERP and AR/AP tools into the CFin environment. The CFin Transformation Lead will enable technology to standardize financial reporting, management reporting and transaction processing by collaborating with the Controllership and FP&A organizations to establish reporting needs and working with the Financials Controls Office to establish robust SOX controls and meet compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Execute Carrier’s vision to simplify its reporting by implementing a common information model, embrace digital tools and simplify its operating environment

Report to CFin Leader on CFin transformation including tactical aspects of each milestone, potential barriers and ensure upstream and downstream impacts are considered and addressed

Work cross‑functionally to deploy the scope and requirements of the program, validate adoption of the global design, identify current gaps in harmonization requirements and ensure that corrective actions are taken to remediate these

Engage and collaborate with respective end users to ensure awareness and consideration of sustainability is at the center of every conversation

Partner with Change Management Lead to provide input on communication and training needs

Perform reconciliations, process audits, enhance controls and drive change, where necessary

Drive adoption of the CFin tool for future state

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

5 years implementing SAP systems/tools

8 years applicable Finance/Accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working on ERP implementations at a global corporation

Exposure to FP&A reporting and consolidation

Previous experience developing or executing SOX controls

Indirect tax knowledge

Exposure to Statutory Reporting outside US

Ability to think strategically and bring original analysis to bear to resolve complex issues

Ability to think out of the box, manage and drive change across the organization

Attention to detail

Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written

The annual salary for this position is between $174,250–$243,750. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
