The Fluid Operations Resource Leader makes an impact by:
Execute Production plan and meet Shift Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI) for an 8 hr. shift Production Bottling Team.
Direct employees in the proper usage of safe manufacturing practices, including the hazards of products being produced and ensure accountability.
Manage team of 30 employees in a Fluid Bottling department to maximize line efficiency while minimizing labor costs.
Manage plant warehouse inventories and oversee data entry into our warehouse management system (Assistics/Shop Orders/Pack Orders, etc.).
Communicate plan needs of the service groups to the needs of the production area, including changeovers, preventative maintenance, waste, and material needs for the current and following production day.
Communicate and follow up on any quality or safety defects to all levels of the organization for prompt evaluation.
Support and participate in the plant safety process.
Oversee assigned areas of the plant to ensure SQR standards are being met on all products.
Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
Bachelor’s degree in related field or 5 years of equivalent experience and training
Food Manufacturing a plus
Knowledge of department operations and procedures
Ability to understand complex verbal and written instructions
Working knowledge of Total Process Control (TPC) practices and procedures
Perform all duties within the established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations
Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Food Safety and Quality
Perform all other duties as assigned

Physical Demands
The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low) and manufacturing setting where noise levels can be high (PPE required)
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in an office or manufacturing environment from 4-8+ hours
The employee must be able to ascend and descend stairs, and where applicable and when necessary, to perform various job-related tasks
Must be able to position self to move, reach with arms/hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform various job-related tasks
The employee must be able to inspect all job-related equipment (office or floor) to ensure it is in good working condition prior to use. Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle (or feel) to operate various types of office equipment.
Must be able to operate all job-related equipment (powered, hand or office) as required
Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus
Ability to lift 20 pounds and/or push/pull 20 pounds on a regular or occasional basis
